Sharp cuts.
Slow craft.
No shortcuts.
An independent barbershop in the east end. Four chairs, four craftsmen, and decades of combined experience cutting hair the way it should be cut.
The shop
Built for the long appointment.
We took over an old machinist's workshop on Foundry Lane and kept the bones — brass fixtures, oxblood leather, the sort of chairs that get better with age. There's no rush here. Every chair gets a full slot. Every cut gets a wash.
Bring a coffee, leave with a haircut you don't have to think about for the next month.
Trained craftsmen
Every barber here did a proper apprenticeship — no shortcuts on the chair.
No rushed slots
Forty-five minutes is the floor. Most clients book an hour, take the time.
Hot-towel finishes
Straight-razor neck shave and a hot towel on every cut. No upcharges.
All hair textures
Curls, coils, straight, fine, thick — every chair handles every head.
